With Deven's background in both planning and landscape architecture, he is engaged in projects ranging from gateway studies, economic development planning, and landscape architecture design.
He joined SKA from North Carolina where he was engaged in natural resource and infrastructure planning, design and implementation, working with local, state and federal agencies on watershed and corridor-scale projects.
Deven has also served as a GIS planner for the Bureau of Land Management in Idaho, and as a planner/GIS manager for Champaign County, Illinois, where he implemented a county wide GIS system, now used to formulate future planning decisions.
