The Indianapolis Department of Metropolitan Development is the designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the Indianapolis region. The Transportation Section of the Department's Division of Planning constitutes the MPO Staff, which managed this component of the Indianapolis Regional Pedestrian Plan.
