Proposed Wesselman Park District

The State Hospital grounds are a major public recreation resource and linkage of that resource to Wesselman across Lloyd Expressway and McDonald golf course is proposed.  A common language of boundary landscape, access routes and signage, will give new identity, scale, visibility and accessibility to this centerpiece of the park system.  The Wesselman Woods Nature Preserve, SMG and McDonald's Golf Course could become the management partners.
