INDIANAPOLIS MULTI-MODAL CORRIDOR and PUBLIC SPACE DESIGN GUIDELINES

PUBLIC MEETING

March 22 - ArtsGarden, 4 PM

The Indianapolis Urban Design Oversight Committee hosted a public meeting at the Indianapolis Artsgarden from 4:00 – 5:30 pm on Thursday, March 22 to introduce the public to the Indianapolis Regional Center Design Guidelines and Indianapolis Regional center and Metropolitan Planning Area Multi-Modal Corridor and Public Space Design Guidelines.  This meeting launches a six week public review period before both documents are considered by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Development Commission for adoption.

• Regional and Metropolitan Planning Area coordination
   

• Present Guidelines to the Metropolitan Development Commission
   

• Develop a Multi-Modal Corridor System Plan, beginning in the Regional Center and Center Township
   

• Final Design Guideline Manual in July/August 2007
